Professional Care for Cancer Patients We offer a comprehensive cancer survivorship program comprised of 2½ hour long groups where patients are taught skills, such as cognitive behavior therapy, to deal with different aspects of cancer such as fatigue, fear, and hopelessness.
Patients also learn how to address and manage somatic symptoms like nausea, pain, and fatigue with non-pharmacological methods. Patients embrace and become enthusiastic about treatments they are receiving and are more able to manage side effects of these treatments. The program is managed by a board-certified psychologist with 25 years of experience in psychosocial oncology.

Belief Work Belief work is a very valuable technique that we present to all our patients and their support persons on the first session and is assigned on each session to utilize in the situation of emotional crisis.
It can also be effectively employed to unhealthy spiritual or philosophical beliefs, but in such an instance, the first rule that healthy thinking is based on facts does not apply. Belief work is a very empowering tool to resolve emotional suffering both for clients as well as therapists.
